Derek is 3rd generation farmer at Kenilworth where traditionally they fattened lambs and grew peas and beans. Since the 1980’s Derek has taken on organic farming principles which have developed over time. Derek completed his degree in Farm Management, majoring in Soils and teaches Organic Farming at Armidale Rural TAFE  plus helps farmers all over the district with organic farming practices.

Fiona has had a wide range of experience in farm and company accounting, marketing and organising large events within the community. While Fiona is a ‘jack of all ....’—she works well with the animals and ensures all the husbandry practices are carried out.

Justin is our main tree planting guy. He loves to propagate, grow and plant diversity into the paddock mix. He is mostly self taught, but has had some good tips from his father as well as doing courses like Graeme Saites Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture.

Kate is the graphic designer and has come up with the design for the egg labels and marketing material. I am looking forward to her developing the website, one day!

Adam is the builder. He builds the sheds for us and comes up with new and better ways to improve the design. Adam has come up with designs that allow good air flow through the shed to reduce the risk of disease and heat stress. He is learning as much as we are and was only school age when he started.
